If you are coming from the north by the Adriatic Highway use the ferry-line Prizna-Žigljen. It takes some ten minutes to drive from the port Žigljen to Stara Novalja by car.
If you arrive from the south, from the connection from the motorway Zagreb-Split (Dalmatina) or from the direction of Zadar you can reach the island from the mainland crossing the Pag bridge.

If you come by catamaran from Rijeka and Rab, you can reach Stara Novalja by bus or by taxi. Novalja is connected to the other towns by bus lines, on a daily basis and the nearest airport is in Zadar, some 80 kilometres away.
