The Pag lace, distinguishes itself for its peculiarity and multitude of beautiful patterns. It is the most original island souvenir, and the skill of its workmanship has been transmitted over the centuries owing to the nuns of the Pag Benedictine monastery St. Margarita. Each original Pag lace is a little masterpiece of skill, patience an creativity of Pag women. Today, in the Pag Lace Gallery in the town of Pag are exhibited some of the most beautiful examples of these handicrafts, clothes and folk costumes with Pag lace ornaments.
